Belgian shoegaze artist The Haunted Youth is gearing up for the release of his debut album, Dawn Of The Freak. This single, ‘Teen Rebel’, allows us to glimpse inside the ten-track album. It’s a beautiful, almost ghostly work that instantly fills you with a kind of hazy, grey nostalgia. The sweeping of synth pads in the background crafts an airy texture, while the insistence of the drum pattern and guitar chugging form a simplistic bed for his distorted, yet endlessly melodic lead vocal.
